Bandar Sacrificed Due to Qalamoun Failure
En-Nusra news agency reported that the former president of Saudi Intelligence Organization, Bandar Bin Sultan was discharged from his post due to the Islamic Army’s failure in Qalamoun, East and West Guta.
The Lebanese en-Nesra news agency reported that the reason behind the Saudi Intelligence Organization’s former president, Bandar Bin Sultan’s, discharge from his post was because the Islamic Army lost the battle in Qalamoun. This comes in contrast with the Saudi Organization’s presentation of his discharge as resignation.
The Lebanese news agency stated: “Bandar Bin Sultan was discharged, firstly because the relations between Washington and Riyad have been intensified. Secondly, the Islamic Army has lost its power in Qalamoun, East and West Guta.” He reportedly caused a number of disagreements between the USA and Saudi Arabia by giving empty promises to Washington regarding Syrian crisis.
The en-Nahl news agency reported that the Saudi Foreign Affairs Minister, al-Faisal, was to be discharged from his post within the frame of a number of reforms within the Saudi state. The news agency alleged that al-Faisal would announce his resignation soon by force just like Bandar Bin Sultan did. Critics claim the plan had been postponed for a while since the state failed to replace him with someone qualified enough. Meanwhile, the Ehli Beyt news agency pointed out that the USA was behind all these reforms in the state offices in Saudi Arabia.
