The USA has reportedly started to provide guided anti-tank rockets to terrorist groups in Syria after preparing them in Turkey. Aydınlık Newspaper has revealed the details of rocket trafficking among the CIA, Turkish Intelligence Organization (MİT) and the Free Syrian Army (FSA). Through the FSA commander Salim İdris, the TOW anti-tank rockets were sent to the terrorist groups Harekat al-Hazm to Syria by MİT and used for the first time in Idlib against the Syrian army forces.
The terrorist organization was considered to have conducted the horrendous attacks in Reyhanlı in 2013. Despite these allegations, US senator John McCain has continued to support the idea of providing more arms to terrorist groups, and went to Syria accompanied by a number of MİT officials on the 27 May 2013 to have a meeting with the Free Syrian Army, Salim İdris, and other parties, deciding on closer relations in future.
